1. Open Image and object count window 2. Count objects by adjusting threshold, clean, smoothing, and restrictions 3. Depress “Keep updating count” button (on far right side of object count window) 4. Press TAB key to enter Bin nary editor 5. If desired, reduce/increase the transparency of the binary image with “CTRL-down (or up) arrow. 6. Select 6-Pt pen line width (near top of screen) 7. Toggle “FG” (foreground) to “BG” (Background) in Binary editor 8. Select Polyline tool (Left toolbar) 9. Left click and hold, draw clear line between touching objects, right click to finish. 10. Exit Binary Editor
To enclose objects that are not touching…
Repeat steps 1-7 above
7. Select Polyline Fill Tool (from left toolbar) 8. Left click, draw enclosing circle, right click to finish 9. Exit Binary editor, count is automatically updated.
