Nikon Livescan SFC Swept-Field
Confocal Microscope

Flexibility: The Nikon LiveScan SFC is both a multipoint field scanner and a
high speed slit scanner, offering 4 pinhole and 2 slit sizes to choose from.
Speed: Frame rates of 20 fps in pinhole mode and 500 fps in slit mode are
possible, with selection of an appropriate camera. Ideal for live samples, the
speed of the Nikon LiveScan SFC allows photobleaching and phototoxicity to be
minimized.
Resolution: 4 pinhole choices allow the appropriate size pinhole to be selected
for a variety of objective lenses. In pinhole mode, the LiveScan SFC offers
similar axial resolution to that of a point scanning confocal.
Multiple Laser Configuration Options: Up to 6 lasers lines available.
Multiple Detector Choices: Compatible with a variety of cameras, including Roper
Coolsnap HQ and Roper Cascade 512B.
Intuitive and Powerful Software: The LiveScan SFC is fully integrated into NIS
Elements, making the system easy to use and control, and offering many features,
including 6D acquisition, 2D real-time deconvolution, user-friendly macro
function, and a variety of image processing and measurement functions.
